VF-20 details cleaned for the 1820. Harsh cleaning.

VF-25 possibly details/cleaned. Gentle cleaning if at all. Can't really tell from the pic.

Thanks jp! I'm going to stay away from the 1820- I dont mind a gentle cleaning but it looks pretty bad like you've said. The 1823 isn't too bad but there are always more out there!

Yes a very harsh cleaning a lot of the patina is gone.

VF-20
It may have been cleaned lightly long ago but I doubt it.

I'd suggest passing on the 1820, looks to be VF detail but personally I think the coin isn't very attractive.

The 1823 has likely been cleaned in my opinion, has about VF-25 detail. I wouldn't pay much over $70 for this one.

IMO the '23 has better eye appeal, and for the right price I would pull the trigger.

No way would I buy the '20
