heres a normal ear, from my 250x, nothing there for extra ear

The real DDO doubled ear is pretty obvious at 10X

When you look at a doubled die, you don't even have to ask. They are that strong. They leap at you when you find them. You think: Why was I looking so hard to find something that was not there on other coins....
