Nice pick up Chris!. Sorry I missed you we went earlier. My timing was funky Sunday. Had to hit the show while the kid was willing.

I was hoping to see you & Braunwin. (not sure if I spelled that right). I ran into Yankee while I was there. He seemed much taller than I remember. But, It's been more than a year since I've seen him & his Dad.

Well, I hope all is well. We need to get together soon.

Ok, as promised. The seller had this listed as MS60 for $595. I negotiated it down to $400. Did I do as well as I thought I did?

That's VG $ on Numismedia. The only way you could have done better is with a mask and gun.

I had ask the seller if the pricing was good. He replied "yes". I think this was priced from the half dollar section of his sheet by mistake. The pricing on the halves seems to be in his marked price range.

Have the rims been beat up a little? Kinda looks like it may have been in a pendant or something? I'll say AU-58 details. I also think the cleaning was quite harsh. Harsh chemically, not mechanically. That being said, I'm no expert. Nice coin either way.

I would say detail as well, but that said you did real good at that price. An xf details and an AU details of that exact year sold on ebay for 360 and 500.

Yeah unfortunately these new photos make it look cleaned. I'm at AU-details. Still a nice coin either way.

It looks like AU details to me. Looks like a light cleaning. I think you got a very good deal!

Looks like AU+ Details and Improperly Cleaned. You did quite well at $400, the sellers $595 asking price was likely a fair market retail. I'd call $400 wholesale for that one.
