My suggestions
1)Put up an ad on kijiji...
Try and get someone to buy the whole lot... at a good price privately...

2)If you can go to any local auctions around your area where they are auctioning coins... as people come to pre-view the coins give them a made flyer of what you have and your contact info... tell them you're trying to sell your items

3)Send your stuff into an auction house and have them auction it off for you (if you do your research in finding a decent auctioneer that brings in coin collectors and good prices it's worth the fees you pay)

I personally would only recommend e-bay as a last resort... if you haven't sold anything on there before you're not going to have a high positive rating and that may distract from some other sellers..

#'s 1 - 3 are exactly the way I like to buy coins and have been approached that way to buy coins... the flyer at someone else's auction is a bit underhanded but you will at least get those that are intersted in coins...

Some others have also suggest this forum... I haven't tried buying or selling off of this forum yet.. but I do know this... I have read of members on this forum pitching together to help get people coins and sets.. I have read member posts that have given exceptionally valuable feedback time and again to people... So while I haven't tried the buy/sell services here.. I would honestly think the people here may be your first "go-to"... and you really would have nothing to lose.

Cheers
and keep things shiney side up

I agree with SPP, go read, comment and generally let a few posts fly, get to 50 and you can sell here. Show some pictures in a post so we can see them and have an idea of what you have.

*edit jg is right 250 posts.....

direct sale to collector would be best, but if you need to unload all of it and fairly quickly then I think ebay is better than going to a dealer (especially since you don't have any near you).

whatever a dealer can sell it for is about what it will sell for on ebay. the dealer will want to make more than eBay/paypal's 10-15%, and ebay has a much wider audience.

good luck

HIgh end coins could be sold at auction, like Torex in October, although it's too late to put anything in now.....contact Chuck Moore.

I like selling on ebay personally... I sell things there all the time, its not the fastest way but I get what I want for my coins. I place the starting price what I would like to get for them and do not start them at .99 like some people. I also only post 50 per month so there are no listing fees and fee's only if the item sells.
Rest in Peace

Check with Bobby or Susan about consigning them.

32%, but their reputation brings in good offers and bids.
