BudJillett Valued Member United States 72 Posts	Posted 09/11/2013 7:48 pm Thank you everyone! I didn't know very much about Half Dimes. Never had one. I didn't know about "re-punched dates" (RPD) till I started researching this coin. I didn't think it was a RPD looking at it, but then I got out my loupe. The 8 stood out almost right away. Gawking at it awhile longer and then I noticed the first 4. Then finally the 1. Can't really tell on the last 4. I was a bit dismayed by the scratches, but at least they are not too deep and the worst of them are on the reverse. Thanks for all the help, Bud Report this Post to the Staff
