Here is another coin I would like some input on. It is a raw coin, never graded.

Please let me know if I begin to send in too many coins, I have several more I would like to submit.
Thank You.

I'd guess MS62 that scratch on the obverse is pretty deep, but looks like a lot of luster is still present. This could easily be an AU coin too, one that needs in hand inspection.

Even if you get MS63 out of it - the bare minimum at which you might rationalize the cost of slabbing - this is still the third-most common St. Gaudens and there are over one hundred thousand of them graded MS64 and better by PCGS/NGC combined. Is it really worth it? Maybe for authentication only.

Looks like a 63 with a shot at 64. It is a common date so there is no need to certify it.

Good strike and luster make it a keeper and worth its weight in gold.
