It's considered a packaging error. I have a US set w/ an extra dime in w/ the cent... Shouldn't bring any significant price increase, but someone may pay a high premium if they want it

They usually sell for $50 to $60 bucks.

Yes apparently the small coins can be flipped...

This one I picked up a couple months ago.. 2013 set with toonie flipped..

It is easy to flip 1, 5 and. 10 cents.

When I look at these things and the cost that they are going at I have to really chuckle at the state of numismatics.

There is no good record of how these things are packaged so it is not hard to reproduce with simple technology. Make it look genuine with genuine coins and voila.

But this is one of those things where to each their own applies I guess.

The great thing about numismatics and collecting in general is that you never know what someone might badly need

@Paisa - I couldn't agree more! To me, I feel this is silly to pay a premium for a flipped coin... but then I have to stop myself as I am sure someone is sitting at home laughing at half the stuff I buy for a premium :) So you are correct, to each their own... and yes it is a great thing how one mans trash funds his treasure :)
