I have a Token that I know almost nothing about, except what it says on it I do not know which side is the OBV. or REV. because there is no date. It also has some rotation. Obverse: good for one cent in merchandise (around rim) Hickory camp store (inside) Reverse: Paint Creek Collieries (around top half of rim) Good For One CT. (below 1c mark in middle) in MOSE. (below Goof For One CT.) I will try to get a picture or scan as soon as possible.

Coal mining script. A reminder of the "good old days" when employers were free to pay their workers in a form they couldn't spend except where the employer said they could, thus keeping them in practical peonage.

Welcome to the forum! From the great American song "Sixteen Tons:" Quote: You load sixteen tons, what do you get Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store

It's from a West Virginia coal mining company. It most likely reads: Good for ct (cent) in MDSE (merchandise). Makes me want to sing "I owe my soul to the company store..."

Looks like the same mining company, with more than one company store. Good job, John!

Welcome to the CCF. Yes, you have some mining scrip (not scripT). This is a very popular form of exonumia. These are great research items for those who like to google! You can then attach some history and breathe some life into your tokens.
P.S. - The reverse notation that the OP cited as MOSE are likely MDSE which is an abbreviation for MerchanDiSE.

Does anybody want to see a picture of it?
And I forgot to ask, but about how much is it worth?

Is that better?
Sorry again about the glare.
Does anybody have a guess on how much it's worth?
Thanks!
