Hi,

I'm fairly new to collecting, and have started collecting the Washington quarters, and finished my first collection book, but at the end there is two spots for "Varieties". What kind of quarters do I put here? Thank you!!

A B reverse and a Re-punched mint mark are a few.

What I have usually seen in slots like these are the 'double die' quarters issued in such years as 34,37, 42 & 43. You can also find those with the mint marks doubled up and overlayed in the 50 issue. There were filled mint marks in 79 and some more minor varieties floating around. Some are a little expensive, but not hard to find. Good Luck!

Maybe you can use the two 'variety' spots to display a couple of different reverses, like the standard eagle, and the bicentennial reverse?

So that's what those are for!!
I got me one Jefferson with a Sharpie 'stache in one hole and a Sharpie goutee in the other.
Another day, another thing learnt!

Great suggestion about the Bicentennial and regular in those places. Also, good idea to make them the proofs. In my Lincoln Cents there are the same type of slots in the Whitman Classic Albums and I too put in Proofs of the two different types.
