I will go as far as AU50. Unusual to see St George and Dragon on bronze, although common with these tokens. More usual to find on British gold, or silver crowns of Victoria.

Thanks for your opinions much appreciated. I paid 33$ shipped which I don't think is to bad for this piece, Like I said its one of the nicer one I have see on ebay I the past few months. Has nice detail, no green crap, nice rims, and a nice consistent color. I'll be sure to post in hand pics when it arrives.

Doctor Eugene Courteau (died 1934), was the foremost researcher of Canadian Colonial token varieties.
Other Canadian numismatic pioneers include Sandham, Breton, McLachlan, Wood, Gibbs, etal. Concerning the evolution of numismatic collecting, it must be understood that collecting by decimal series is a rather modern activity. Unlike today, many early collectors merely collected the decimal series by type. And, prior to the Confederation, tokens were all that was available to collect. The advent of modern decimal series collecting has now overshadowed the former token interest. However, tokens are now becoming more popular.

Seems that the AU50 might have been justified. With this piece, I can't really see any significant wear at all. Handsome token, with a nice patina.
