1942, 1944s, and 1948s wheaties, 1939 nickel, and $4.50 in random 70's JFK halves. No s mark JFKs but I still keep all the ones I find. Not to bad for one day. Also a few pre 82 pennies that go in my copper hoard.

2 of the 50 cent pieces and the 48s came from my work. The 44s came from my brothers work, and the rest from my moms work.

The nickel also came from my brothers workplace. Glad I started a family coin finding network.

Also look for the elusive 40% silver 1971 Kennedy. Yes the 65 to 70 are all 40% silver. The 64 was 90% silver.

Also at work today received 2 Louisiana purchase nickels in my change. One with the buffalo the other the shaking hands one. I've had roughly 30 of these come in change over the past month. I keep them separate from my nickel hoard.

I'm not sure I thought up until the bicentennial Kennedy the s mints were silver. I know the bicentennial s mint is 40% silver maybe I'm wrong about the others.

Correct. From 1992 to date, the S-mint proof comes two ways, as a Cu-Ni clad or a 90% silver.
