I found this nickel while searching through a box of nickels recently. Can someone tell me what kind of error this is & a ballpark value? Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

Your coin (2002-D Jefferson) exhibits a relatively common error ... it has been struck through what we call 'grease' ... in reality it is impossible to identify the exact substance that caused the obverse strike weakness.
