I found this penny while sorting through some coin and thought it was pretty cool. Any idea on what the value of something like this is?

I think its one of the coolest coins to find, yet severely undervalued in my eyes. ebay is flooded with them which naturally drives the value way down. I have always thought in my mind people from the mint or with access to people from the mint snag these and pump them into the market, or the middle man coin rollers. I dont know how so many can flood the market when they are not exactly common to find on that scale. Usually due to the shape, they wont roll. So maybe Brinks, Strings, Wells Fargo, etc. (i.e. wrapping companies) end up with bins of these after their machine roller spits them out. Just a theory, and only one of a few possible explinations.

Yeah $1 to $2 seems to be the norm. I will probably just keep it due to its "cool" factor. lol
