Hello everyone, I have two old coins that I think are probably fake but I am interested in where they are from and their worth. They are extremely hard to describe so I will post pictures here and hope someone can guide me! Thanks !

, but here's the thing; some of the people on CCF are near geniuses at coin recognition and others are practically God-like in their knowledge and abilities. Even so they'll need bigger and better pictures to work from and, if you can manage it the weight and diameter will really help to ID your coins.

I'm afraid Coin 1 looks like a replica and seems to be stamped "COPY" .. the second .. unsure.

As abr says, better photos will help people tell for certain.

The important thing is to make sure your camera is on the "macro" setting, which gives you a clear close-up. After that, use the forum's "Frre Image Optimizer" to crop the area around the coin.
That said, the small cross in the large blank field on your first coin suggest an Anglo-Saxon penny. That large blank field on yours seems not quite blank, though. Do I see the stamped letters "COPY" there?
