Hi everyone,

I am new to collecting coins and have just found a 1918-s Standing Liberty quarter. I was doing some searching and found there are some that are rare and others not so much. I cant tell which type I have.

I now that it is an S mint and the hair looks decent but I don't know much more than that. I would love to hear from you all about the grade of this coin. Am I way off thinking it could be about a 45?

Can someone explain what a full head would be for this coin?

Thanks,

1918-S-Standing-Liberty-Quarter

Kind of need the reverse also. I'm not too good with Standing Liberty quarters, but I'll take a stab and say VF 35 for the obverse.

Looks close to EF-40, with a strong date and no serious marks. The slight blotchy coloring plus the scattered dark spots on the reverse could be signs of a light cleaning. Nice coin in any case.
