Anyone notice the 20th Anniversary ASE silver set is dropping? The average price is now down to roughly $500.

I saw recent unopened sets went close to $1000. I think they'll continue to increase.

They're probably going to hover around the $500 dollar range.

I don't see too many modern day issues EVER matching the 2001 Buffalo Dollar. That is almost a once in a lifetime event! One thing is for certain, time will tell!
Rest in Peace

Well the whole 20th anniversary silver set frenzy just keeps going. I don't see a drop off in prices. Right now the 70 sets are selling for anywhere form $1,700 on the low side to $2,250 on the high side with an average of about $1,900. That's 19 times original cost in less than a year! The 69's are selling for around $650. The unopened sets are going for about $750 to $800 and the opened sets are going from $550 to $600. I don't think that is a drop at this time. These coins have had more upswing than the gold set. I think more people can afford these so demand is higher, and there are more silver eagle collectors who need this set for their collection.

Will it end? I don't think it will over the long run. There are just too few of these sets out there (I'm talking more about the graded sets). Only a little over a quarter of a million sets is not very many. I still have my 10 sets in the sealed box. I keep hmming and hawing about sending them all in to be graded.
