Hi,

I have quite a lot of coins - and they cover a wide range of areas and periods in history.

I thought it might be quite fun to create a series of short videos about some of them so I've created "The Coins Channel" on youtube where I have a conversation (with myself ?) about a coin of the day, so to speak.

The link to the ones I've done so far is my signature below.

I'm still learning at this - so the first ones are probably a bit shaky but I hope to improve. If I can work out how to include a still of coin rather than "annoyingly" waving it around all the time I'll do that too.

The plan is to do a lot more of these - if they get interest. They are quite short (3-4 minutes each) and I try to impart some bit of knowledge that I have tucked away above and beyond what you can look up in Krause or the like.

Anyway - I hope they are of interest and are enjoyable.

thanks.

Might end up being a lot better than all the rest of the coin things on utube or TV. Keep on trying.

Excellent short video, and nice to see that you picked a Byzantine coin to talk about.

Thanks - it's still a learning process but fun to do. I'll do more ancients later, I was really just taking coins that were handy - from various trays.

Stay tuned (as they say :) )
