downtownsf Valued Member United States 71 Posts	Posted 09/23/2013 10:39 am F15-VF20, Repunched Date N-3 R.2, looks like pvc gunk that acetone might be able to cure. Those streaks running through the coin might be an Improper Alloy Mix error or they could be a harsh cleaning. Once you get the coin you should be able to tell right away. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18662 Posts	Posted 09/23/2013 2:21 pm VF25 details. cleaned and also someone cut notches around the reverse rim. the bid price at around $17 is the most you should pay for it. you can do better than this. 1848 is a common year that has a lot of nice VF+ examples available for a good price.
