I am pretty sure this is the worst fake dollar bill I have ever seen! It look likes they tried using metal instead of paper.... idiots!
Ok you got me I was kidding. The counterfeiters missed placing a denom on this coin don't ya think?

Yes, fake.

Welcome to the forum! The two tiny marks on Liberty's neck near the angle of the jaw, and the spurs sticking off the outer points of the fourth and fifth stars on the left, mark this as a well-known counterfeit that's been produced in large quantities. Here's another example:

Absolutely a fake but not for that reason. Early US dollars only had the denomination inscribed on the edge. Of course, that feature is almost always missing on fakes as well.

Definitely fake, not that there's any question at this point. Yours is the first I've seen where they didn't use the same style of stars all the way around. Most of the stars look like 6 bladed Ninja throwing stars but several stars on the right side are more like stars of David. That's just plain weird.

got to ask,, is it usual to have a coin with more ware on one side than the other,, or is this a poss indicator that something could be wrong? I would of thought that a coin would ware down even,, I scaned some authentic 1795 dollars and noticed that there are slight difrences in them but I under stand it to be the casts were hand carved,, is this allso correct?
