I've added 3 new circ commems to my 144 set. One is a down grade. The Grant Star is now an AG03. The other additions are a 1933-D Oregon in XF45 and a 1936-D Texas in XF40.

No Thanks needed ... but what is desired are photographs. Congratulations on the latest additions ... your continued aspirations to complete this perhaps impossible set are inspiring to all of us who enjoy the chase for circulated classic silver commemorative. David

Quote: I had never heard of a 144 set. The abbreviation "144 set" refers to a complete set of every classic USA silver commemorative issued from 1892 through 1954. During that timespan of the series, there were 144 total coins minted if you include every date, mm and variety. The OP (Not Mint to Be) is a collector of circulated coins from that series ... and at this time is the only person in the world who has collected a complete certified 50-coin type set (1 of each type). He is also pursuing the entire 144-coin set in certified circulated grade ... an imposing and challenging goal to say the least. David

Thanks for the info. I did a little research after I saw 144. I didn't realize there were that many out there. I will be looking for a few when I start my 7070 set. Nice to see they are not too expensive in MS64 or so.

The Magic number for this set will soon be "55". I will shortly add a 1936-P Cincinnti in VF20 and a 1937 Boone in VG08.
