Got a email that my 2015 Proof ASE shipped today.

I forgot I had a subscription... oh well...

Sure seems to me like an "early release" qualification, (not that I would bother getting one slabbed)

Got mine ordered too and for the same reason (forgotten subscription). Thought I had canceled all my subscriptions (or "enrollments" as they're now called) but apparently not. No big deal, was going to buy them anyway. Just wanted to combine shipping when possible.

I received the email saying they were available. Was planning on getting one, but spent $90 at the LCS today. How long does the distribution run typically last?

What is amazing to me is the 2014 ASE bullion coin mintage at 44 million. I wonder if 2015 will be even higher.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the 2015 ASE?

duncanbishop24, the coin costs $48.95 plus $4.95 budget shipping (when the finish is proof).
For an uncirculated one, it costs $43.95.

you can buy uncs. from many websites for 20-25 each.. so don't buy an unc from the mint.

Unc ones from the mint have a mint mark and are considered different from the bullion versions.

Weird. 2015 ASE's looked to be selling between 35-40 bucks on ebay the other night when I looked.

Some people are willing to spend double the value to fill that hole in the album. There will be plenty minted and should be available for a modest cost above spot soon.

@duncanbishop24, you were probably seeing auctions for the bullion version. $35-$40 is very expensive for 1 oz. of sliver that one should be able to pick up from any online bullion dealer or LCS for a few bucks over spot.

Ooooh... I hope mine ships soon! I've been giving one to my nephew every year for his birthday, which is on February 11th. So far, it has come in on time every year, but it has been close.
