How do they get such sharp jewel details deep into that one cupping above her forehead?

I would have thought that a PDM impact would have flattened out the jewels in the cup.....

Can you get a picture of the back of the head that is in focus or not as pixelated?

The depression above the head looks like it was struck through something,as the jewel seems in good condition. The back is too tough to tell without a clearer picture, looks interesting though.

I would propose struck through on the crown

and

Planchette flaw for the back of the head or maybe there was some debris for the back of the head that was forced into the coin and fell off over time. I have a cracked penny that has a similiar look on the inside.
