Finally got all my Morgans in airtites, then it occured to me: Is it possible to get these back open without destroying them or the coin? Man, them seem REALLY sealed in those!

I just use a pocket knife and work it into the seam (carefully). on your better Morgans I would replace them in a new airtite afterwards, thay don't seal as well after a few times

All you have to do is slip a thin object, such as a kitchen knife, into the crack and they will pop right open but take note as they will NOT seal up that tight again after opening them. I personally have found nothing I like better than air tites so good luck!

Actually its pretty easy. If you look at the edge of the airtite holder you'll see a small notch for opening the holder.

Thanks! That's good to know, too bad I'll have to replacement after opening....guess I'll avoid opening them in general, they're a bit pricey.

I was wondering that....what's the best way to organize/display coins in airtites? They don't make any albums that take them?

They do make albums and various other holders and you can checkout their website at http://www.airtiteholders.com/ I'd recommend ordering their free catalog while you're there as the card combinations versus holders gets a little tricky.

Here's a sample of a holder I used for a 1929 year type set

Metalmans post has some pretty good pricing. You can also go to http://www.jpscorner.com/Coin_Albums.htm. I haven't checked the pricing difference on any of them....

Excellent! Thanks!

OK, I'm a little confused on which one I need. I have about 35 Morgans I want to put in one of these. They are the 38mm airtites, that's ALL I want to put in one of these. Which one do I need? I don't want a bunch of empty holes, I need an album with only 38mm holders on each page.
