I apologize if the image is difficult to see but here are the details: Five Cent piece appears to be clad in a coppery metallic layer that can be peeled (though not easily). Initially I mistook it for a penny. Has anybody heard or seen something like this? Any info. would be helpful. Thank you! Will gladly post any other info if needed Report this Post to the Staff

There is a very low probability it left the mint this way but if it is a mint error it would be fairly valuable. Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps. Report this Post to the Staff
