The banks in my area will only accept rolls when depositing change, but only give out bank rolls. How can I reuse the bank rolls to re deposit the coins?

You can unroll the end if you're careful. If you use something pointed to push in their it makes it easier. Just don't scratch any good coins.

Yeah, people do that all the time. You could take a nail or something to open the end of the roll.

I unroll one end (penny rolls because I search cents mainly), pull out what I need, and I replace whatever I pulled out of the roll from a pile of searched pennies in a Tupperware container I have on my desk. Then I put them all back in the original box and it makes for a quick and easy exchange at the bank.

I carefully open one end, search and replace as needed and reroll the end back up. Most tellers don't even notice the rolls were opened. I had one teller tell me that it couldn't be done . . .

Yeah, I've heard of people saying it can't be done too, but it can.

If anybody wants to know, I found a flathead precision screwdriver to be the perfect tool. Use the flat head end to unroll one end, and the round end to push the coins out from the other side.

Leave one side rolled otherwise the wrap will unroll by itself. I believe the opened end can also be rerolled to look exactly like a bank roll too.

Simple, find a better dump bank with a coin machine. Rolling coins wastes too much time and dumping rolls is a hassle.
