i think this coin is s-197, but I am not sure. any opinions?

Sounds good to me

I can see the die break from the bottom of the T through the middle of the E towards the top of the S in STATES. All of the other identifiers look to be washed out by corrosion. I wish the date wasn't as worn so we could tell if it has the "Q" die break.
