I want to put together a type set of
US coinage. I'm starting with easier examples, like I have a 3 cent nickel and a 2 cent piece as well as things like
Barber coinage and morgans. I'm not going for expensive coins, just common date circulated examples that still show what the coin looks like.
I looked into 20 cent pieces but WOW were they expensive. Basically after seeing that I decided I wanted help from people who have done this sort of thing before, or at least are familiar with classic coins.
basically I'm using this as a check list:

For now my goal is to just start with the easiest things that expand my collection. The 2 cent piece I got the other day for $8 was a very thrifty addition to my collection. Very cool to have one, and its decent enough to put a smile on my face until I upgrade later in life.
Basically, given the info, what are some price points I should look for to get decent examples of classic coins? For example, a
Half Cent? I think thats my next buy.
