I am thinking of purchasing this 1817 15 Star variety LC. Obviously it does not have all the stars showing but after looking in Wrights book I am fairly sure it is a 15 Star variety. What would you grade and value would you give?
I would say definitely good. It is a shame about the worn stars or it would fair better. I wouldn't pay over $25, but it is a nice example for the grade.
I like it at G6 net. Such an odd variety, there is no difinitive explanation known for this variety, all is conjecture. Nice example that I would grab in the $25 - $35 range.
