Out of all the ASE's I've purchased the 1994 ASE Proof is going to be amongst the most expensive besides the 2008 obv 07 rev.. why is that?

If you dont count the 95 W or the 08/07 the 1994 is the lowest mintage of the proof series being the only one with a mintage under 400k

That is a interesting list, I bookmarked it.
Thanks for posting it FW.

The RedBook also has a list for ASE's.

I recently purchased a 1993 proof. I see on the posted link
they put a note for the 1993 proof, saying there was 12,xxx
proofs in a Philadelphia set, not sure I am familiar with that set. Has anyone seen one?

Sounds like you have a nice set of slabbed Eagles started Stylez.

Someday I would like to get a 1995W ... but I am sure it won't be this week.

Are you planning on doing the Rev. proofs and the 2013 W set? If so ... there are a few more higher price coins.
Oh .. even some of the burnished coins from the special sets get up there in priced.

Ouch ... I know I wont be going after a 70 graded coin.

I have seen a couple go through a LCS in the past year.

I know I will have to have nearly $3000 ready, and be willing to
buy when one comes along

Theyll get cheaper as you get more modern with the dates if you arent doing any special issues. 2009 only had the bullion version though, so no proof or W version that year

thanks for the link Foxwoods Man.

I'm planning on getting ALL the ASE's, proof, reversed proofs, and everything... I'm currently working a deal to get the 2008/07 graded by pcgs ms69 and marked with the error and after I finish paying that off I'm going to be getting the 2011 5 coin set in ms69 on payments... luckily I've had some great people work with me on price and payments so that definitely helps when completing a set...

I've seen some of the newer (2000-date) for $50.00 or less and then I've seen them for more... a lot of stores that sell them don't have them in stock so the only place I've been able to get them is on ebay or through dealers I've met on ebay.... hopefully what I have on there now sells and I can put that money into my #7070 along with a 50 oz trade for the 1/2 coppers and large cents, fingers crossed it goes well....

thanks for all the info and questions... I love all this numismatic knowledge... PEACE...
