1864 L Variety Indian Cent

I saw some posts that were locked on here asking about how to tell the difference between the 1864 L variety and No L variety Indian cent. So here is some information. The L Indian cent bust is pointed and sits higher above the number 1 on the date. Also the feather to the left of M in Of America is not pointed to the center of M but a little more above. These are just a couple of ways to tell the difference between those two types of cents. I've been seeing alot of so called L variety Indian cents on ebay that are not. Most of them are worn down and you cant even see the L. Some of these auctions are even from high end sellers so be careful.
