Hello all!

I saw this coin yesterday and was convinced of its authenticity, but now I am having second thoughts. I did not buy it but have the chance to. I think it is the price tag that is making me think twice, but figured I'd double check. Sorry for the photo discolouration, the lighting wasn't great. Do any of the experts see any reason to doubt the authenticity of this one?

PS edited the title, thanks for the correction

Cheers!

By the way: it's 500 Piastres (the equivalent of 5 Pounds).
Egypt has had its part of inflation.

You may be in to buy a rare and massive gold coin. Any price tag below $1450/€1130 can only indicate a counterfeit.
