Hello,

is there any keen error notes collector?
What price should I expect for this 10 dollar error note? What makes it quite interesting to me is that there is no intaglio print which should have been transferred to the upper part of the back from the note above on the sheet.
The note is VF/eVF.

Regards,
chybotisky

I would think so -- IF it is a genuine error.

I am not familiar with those notes but in the US they sell sheets of uncut bills to collectors. Every once in awhile someone cuts those up - unevenly - to 'create' errors.

So check the edges of the bill.

Hope it's the real deal!

the front is obviously normal, perfectly centered. The shift of intaglio print is just on the back.

Buddy: Australia did not produce uncut sheets for collectors back when this note was issued.

What's most interesting to me is that the note seems to have seen some circulation in spite of the obvious error on the back. Perhaps that's simply because it was issued in 1966, when people were still unfamiliar with how these notes were supposed to look.

A stiking error note chybotisky!!

Exceptional.

Price would depend where and how sold. eg: ebay vs Australian Professional Auction House.

I think the latter would provide the best return.

WOW!
Rest in Peace

I thought I'd check back to see what the experts have to say.

Congrats on the error note!
