dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 10/16/2013 09:47 am i received this nickel as change, at a grocery store. it is in very nice condition (in my opinion), especially for a circulating coin and 73 years old. grade opinions are appreciated. I'd say it's been hiding in someone's piggy bank or was pulled out of a set and just spent a couple of days before you got it. Looks very high end AU (at worst) up to MS 63'ish. The early 1940's nickels, especially the P&D mints, were some of the best struck coins of the series in my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
