...how much would it all be worth? Are there any individual coins that are major players in that figure? You can calculate based on what you have on hand right now, or what you owned previously and sold. Personally, all of mine would fetch about $300-600. The vast majority of that is from silver (about $30 face; mostly 40% halves and War Nickels), followed by my excessive hoard of 1938-59 Jeffersons (about $30 face). I managed to stash away about a box worth of BU rolls of 2009 cents, but I honestly have no idea what they are worth after the ebay craze died down 4 years ago. I very nearly sold all of my silver when I (correctly) predicted that silver would come crashing down after skimming $50/oz back in 2011, but decided that the coins meant more to me than a few hundred dollars. How about you?

Well, it should be stated with face separate. I have about 15$ face but it is worth 45.

I have about $120 in junk silver and a few other series/ coins that I personally like that would add another $10-$20.

I found mostly wheats (60+), some MS with luster, 1938-59 nickles, two buffaloes, 6 War Nickels, and 6 40% halves.

I have sold about $2000 in junk silver. I search very little so that's pretty good. I now more often use that money to buy coins and sell them at a profit, while keeping anything I consider above junk silver, like standing liberties with dates, mercs, dollar coins, etc.
I sold my junk silver only because we needed the money, Turns out it was a great decision and I don't have qualms about it anymore. With enough number crunching, you can let your coin hobby pay for itself.

$20 at most. I mean, I love my Wheat penny collection, but if it was all I owned of value after a disaster, I might not last too long!

$400-$450 if I got full retail for it all. a lot of it is $150 in copper pennies, the rest is about 14 War Nickels, 10 silver rosies, a silver merc, a silver Washington, about 300 wheat pennies, 30 of them being 1919-1935's, and a few Buffalo nickels I found(1927 and 1934), about $10 in pre-1960 jeffersons, about $5 face in Canadian, other foreign coins I've found. I'm pretty happy with my finds as I'm not doing a ton of searching.

Well...To me it is priceless. To put a dollar figure to it I would be hard pressed to make a guess. I CRH mostly cents and nicks. I'm not a silver or copper hoarder. I would think that two of my top contenders will be a 1999 WAM US cent that should hit MS63 or better and a 1955 NSF Canadian cent in VF. I have several 2006 NPNL Magnetic cents as well in various grades that may realize a bit. Besides from them...I keep 1959 and older, 60 + If they have eye appeal. I keep all wheats unless they are trashed. I know what I payed for them...99% at face value. In the past I sold 9 cents and bought my AT Pro metal detector. I just sold 2 lower grade 2006 NPNL Magnetic cents and 2 lower grade 1985 Pointed 5's on ebay and they fetched $81. Not bad for a $.04 investment. I listed them as a set (1 x 2006 and 1 x 1985). With that being said...I guess my collection is worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay. :)

with cladhunter13 No matter what the numismatic value is, my cent collection is irreplaceable! All CRH finds that took years to find. To me it is absolutely priceless. I would say even the most valuable thing I own just based on its uniqueness and irreplaceability.
