Thursday night I did some selling, and a LOT of buying. I have to sell some of the junk silver, but I'm hoping I never have to sell the zodiac. The cost to me for all 12 plus the extra year of the rat was just under $300.

Dancin' peppers love nice coins!

I got all 13 that I could, plus all the other junk silver, with a few nice "not junk" silvers as well :)

I have to be honest, I wasn't quite sure what they were worth until I looked them up. $23 was the first price he tried to sell them at. Now I feel dumb for trying to barter closer to spot! He makes a lot of money off me, so it all evens out in the end.

It's a good thing I still had money too. He held out and didn't bring out the Zodiac until I had bought everything else! I had to call my bank and raise my daily ATM withdrawal limit!

Also, does anyone know anything about the WWII commemorative round?

They are not rounds. They carry a 1 AUD denomination and are coins. Perth Mint Chinese Lunar Zodiac Series I + the one Series II.
