So who do you buy from? I want to buy BU specimens. I am looking for 2010 and onwards and am buying these for my 3 daughters. Thanks in advance.

Provident or ebay. You may have to wait a bit at Provident. Also LCS have them sporadically.

Aydin Coins has good prices, fast shipping too. I have also used SilverTowne and MCM (Modern Coin Mart).

If you only want to buy three its better just to buy them locally. Most places will charge at least $5 for shipping. If you can buy at least 5, ebay has the best prices I've seen and many sellers will include shipping. 120 for 5 is very common, but the price goes up to 75 for 3. Not sure what you meant by BU. slabbed anything is never cheap. Loose ASE's from dealers have been reported here at spot +1, but condition is probably au or worse.

I get mine from my LCS. He always seems to have 2013 eagles, and sometimes he gets BU eagles from other years too. When he does, I buy them to add to my eagle collection. Otherwise, I buy a 2013 eagle and put it away for the future.

See if there's a local bullion broker in your area.

reupman Noticed the link to JMBullion.com. Was thinking of calling them for silver eagles. Are they well known? Maybe others to recommend. Just getting into this. Want to buy a lot to keep at home. Just want to have some silver available. Thanks

The only killer about SilverTowne or APMEX is their shipping cost. Funny, because when APMEX sells on ebay, the shipping is always cheaper. I think with a modest amount of patience, you can do better on ebay.

Maybe, it's just me, but I called JM twice and each person answered my questions with short answers. They wouldn't elaborate on anything and sounded uninterested. I will probably order online and order 20 2014 American Silver Eagles(BU). I can get them for about $457. paying by check. What do y'all think? Thanks.

Average price of $22.85/ea. That's not bad, consider an average of $3 premium when buy in bulk from the large dealers.
