Post your random lucky finds from the ground, whether ten feet underground, in the water, or off the sidewalk! I've found nothing except a 1959-D penny right under the soil near my driveway. I'm sure you can top that! Pics encouraged!

My grandfather found this just beside the sidewalk while waiting to pick me up from school some thirty-five years ago (I was in the third grade).

Here's one that I dug a few years ago showing what it looked like right out of the ground and after being cleaned up. I've dug about 30 CT coppers but this is probably the nicest one.
