1998-Canadian-1-Cent-Silver-Coloured-Coin

Is this a coin that was plated?
Is it an error?
Is it stripped of its copper plate?
If anyone knows anything about this coin (value, likely causes of the silver colour) it would be greatly appreciated!

Could it have come out of one of the specimen sets?

I have some from the silver proof sets, similar fields, but they have some frosting.

Hello melanieclaire. The silver colored coin looks a bit smaller than a usual cent. Try seeing if it sticks to a fridge magnet. It may be a cent that was struck on a 10c blank. If so, it's worth saving. ~ JFK ~
