Curious as to whether or not there are any 1984-S Proof Cent RPMs out there? I was looking at a few of my proof cents and found a few that appear to be RPM's. I checked Variety Vista/Coneca and Lincoln Cent Resource and didn't notice any listed to compare my cents to. The pictures were taken with a single light source. There is one picture of a normal looking mintmark and two pictures of what appear to be RPM's. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Chris

It may just be Machine Doubling. Looks like the overall size of the device is normal, just a little ejection mark on the mint mark.

The bottom looks normal. The middle looks like Machine Doubling. The top one is interesting. Its tough to tell (focus wise?) to tell if there is a lower, separate strike of an "S", or like Coop says, it could be a sideways style ejection / Machine Doubling. What I would look for are two separate tops and two separate bottoms of the "S".

The back of the Cherry Pickers Guide has Mint mark varieties, at least in Volume I.
