1963 Penny One Sided Shell - Coin Community Forum

dbezdek New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 10/21/2013 09:45 am Hi all, Found this penny and not sure if it's even real. It has the Lincoln head on one side and the other side is blank. just carl Bedrock of the Community United States 20753 Posts	Posted 10/21/2013 09:50 am Common magic coin. Used to make a Dime vanish and be replaced by a Cent. Odd you found it since they cost about $10 at a magic store so the person that lost it, is now out of a trick. You can fit a Dime in the hollowed out and tell people you now can make a Dime vanish by showing them the Dime then in your closed hand, simply turn over. Report this Post to the Staff
