An abnormally thick flan...cost me £2, which is more than its worth, but it should clean up alright and I reckon the patina will come out a nice green colour.

Does it weigh approximately double what you would expect for a normal coin?
I think I can see a join line below the mint mark.

I suspect that it may be two coins that have fused themselves together, during burial.
