Hoping for some grade opinions on this 1927-S SLQ. Thanks. Do you think it could be a F-12?

Yeah, close but no cupcake on getting an F12 out of it. Solid VG10.

Thanks for the opinions and also to you tpg22 for the great grading site. It sure seems that the prices of these coins are all over the place. The greysheet on VG is $38.00 with Fine at $85.00. They are asking $90.00 for this one and graded slabbed ones at F-15 are anywhere from $150.00 to $225.00. All a little confusing to me.

You are welcome Wornslick. I like that site for all coin types. I'm there almost everyday.
That coin seems to really jump when you get to Fine. Keep in mind not every VG coin is the same. Same with the F-15's. It looks like they are using the $90 from PCGS for this VG10. If you jump to F15 you get the $150. If you found one for $225 the seller must think they have a coin that might grade closer to 20. The 27S is a high priced coin all around.

It is a BIN so the price is high. No way I would buy it for anywhere near that price, but then I have not looked at 27S coins to compare to others. I would bet the one you saw for $150 looks about the same as the $225 one. I just don't see it but I'm a Walking Liberty collector and only just started buying SLQ's.
