I'm guessing Morocco. Although I have no proof.

The Seal of Solomon would certainly suggest Morocco. The size would also suggest a half falus but the weight is too heavy. Didn't find anything in the 19th century catalog but I don't have a catalog of 18th century coins. The six pointed star was apparently adopted in the later part of the 18th c.

And I didn't see anything remotely similar under India.

I know that Travencore used the 6-pointed star hence the thought that it may be Indian or Moroccan

Don't think it's either - probably Middle eastern.

The star has been used in Libya too see KM#117.

Thanks andyg. I would never have thought of Libya, but it does look a distinct possibility.

The best suggestion so far seems to be a 19th century 2 falus from Morocco but I cannot find it in Krause
