Focusing solely on the serial number ignores the fact that it is a 1933 Silver Certificate -- the rarest of all small size $10.00 SC.

I agree with Lettow, lots of missing information on Yahoo's account. They even missed the fact that it's serial number 1!

I agree it is a rare note, but the book says $23,000 in Gem CU; not accounting for the serial number. If it were a star note, it would be a different matter.
What would make a person pay $500,000?
