I'll try to image it today but I'm not to great with copper so we will see how it turns out. I thought by the ebay photos that the coin looked nicer than MS62 and when I got it in hand I must say I think NGC really undergraded this one. It looks MS63 easy and really I wouldn't think it amiss if it were in a 64 holder. Nice luster, no spots or dings. I'm going to crack it out and send it in with some other coins. I have to say, I really like the 1911 "Godless" issues since they are one-year types. I have the large cent in MS67 Brown PCGS, and the Half Dime and dime each in MS66 PCGS! Congratulations on your nice pickup. Best Regards, George

mdwoods The reality of the Canadian market is that the coin is worth less than the cost of slabbing unless it comes back 64BN or better in an NGC holder.Leave it where it is.

Thank you @pennysaver! It is the sole finest at PCGS for the one-year Godless type. The only other MS67 George V is an MS67 Red 1912! That must be pretty sweet too!! Let's see if I can get the reverse going now ... I think it worked! Enjoy! Best Regards, George VDB Coins

mdwoods.. ..love to see your 11 cent... giorgio... That is one sweet 11 cent there...and only the slightest of ticks showing in those "great and near perfect" pics.. For a second there,...I thought that your pics were the OP's and was shocked at it being graded 62 BN... I have a nice 11 also.....full red..but I won't post unless the OP wants me to...

I apologize if I stomped on mdwoods' original thread. It just got me to thinking about my example. Please note that I did let nearly a month go by before posting my photos. Nonetheless perhaps poor form, and my bad. Best Regards, George

Gorgeous coin . May I ask how much you got it for? I love large cents and have been dying to find a good, MS george V piece for a decent price. And considering I am still a student, does not look like I will be buying one anytime soon

Thank you for the compliment. Sorry, but as a coin dealer I do not share that kind of information publicly. It wasn't cheap. Good luck in your search! Best Regards, George VDB Coins
