Wow! Kuh-85 just opened a thread yesterday about this person who apparently ripped off Kuh--85.

It's clearly labeled as being made of lead. It's clearly cast, from all the visible porosity. The original coin is not made of lead. Buyer beware.

I don't know much about counterfeits, but could this be a contemporary counterfeit or is it likely a modern one?

kuh I would think these two events would be grounds for asking the person to be bounced off ebay....

My wife did get ebay to agree to review their account last night for what that's worth.

Is this being passed off as a genuine specimen or as a cast counterfeit? Seems like a gray area to me...

Confusing to me too, but as per reporting it it doesn't matter since it's illegal.

kuh....I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but ebay will do absolutely nothing.

Please check this buyer's feedback..100 % abusing the system. She scams every seller she deals with ..and my friend reported and got the same answer they told you..BUT yet she is still actively buying .....

No offense, but if you buy from someone with such horrible feedback then you deserve whatever you get. It takes 10 extra seconds to do even the lowest level of research into any ebay transaction.

Random question: Can a seller cancel an order if a person wins an auction and upon looking at their feedback realizes that the person is a jerk?

I am still new to selling on ebay and am wondering if that is an all right thing to do?

Try to catch it before they pay. Easier that way.
