I'm just wondering, how can that be called double die?

When I thinking of doubling, I imaging something you could easily see without zooming in.
Example, 1955 double die went cent. The date shows strong clear doubling on the date.

I'm not disagreeing with you. But I just confused.

Is that glare coop, or is this a great example of a doubled die with Machine Doubling?

Die doubling doesn't have to manifest itself in naked-eye visibility. In fact, the overwhelming majority of examples show only subtle spreads as seen here. All that's required is that the doubling be in the die rather than a strike artifact.

I checked the Wexler book and he had listed 4 so far like mine, but mine was different. It is a class 2 doubled die, flowing to the rim. The second hubbing was closer to the center. (the full hubbing you see.)

I'm as well trusting that the experts have this one correct ... so much for me to learn yet to distinguish a true DD from a bouncy machine hit.

Well done indeed coop.

Man, I can't get that critical on the coins, Its just not in me. Though there are what seems a trillion errors out there, I focus on most that bigger and pronounced.

Good find, keep up that eagle eye.

Once you know what to look for and what factors go into making these varieties happen its just habit to look for it.

Just found a second DDR like this one. I took more images to see if it will be listed on coppercoins:
