I haven't heard of anything yet. The Red Book comments on that there were some genuine nickel planchets that were struck in nickel during the war time years of 1942-45. Again, I never heard of this before. But there are counterfeit nickels that were struck with the missing initials above the Monticello. They were called "Henning" nickels, named after the guy who they sent to jail.
