bought this coin today because it had some interesting rim Cuds on obverse and it seemed cheap enough. Does have a scratch on obverse also but wanted to find out if anyone could identify the Newcomb # and scarcity of it. Thanks Jerry

I can not help with the information you want, but you will need to post a picture of both sides of the coin to get a proper grade.

thanks Joseph. Seems to be an N-6 rim Cud at 1 o'clock and probable rim damage at 11 o'clock reverse looked better than obverse but was not important to the question asked.

Just wanted to confirm your suspicion of the N-6 with rim damage at K-11. Neat Cud but the rim hit it took to push down the metal at K-11 is a shame.

If your asking for a grade, a reverse picture is a must.
Otherwise, grade is irrelevant.
Don't expect a grade ever, without an obverse and reverse picture of
coin.

well the grade of the coin I think would be fine details I think. The hit on the rim on obverse would hurt the value though. Here is a reverse pic. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1836-LARGE-...ht_246wt_664
