We move up the value chain on German WW-I coinage, half a mark of 1916:

The german empire continued minting these half mark coins in silver (0.900 fineness) until 1919. Before hyperinflation really kicked in, there still seemed to be hope that prices would return to pre-war level once shortages were dealt with.

I agree muddler's 1916's walkers look great, I have been watching out this past year ...trying to find some in that same range ... At a good price

There was a 1916 SQL in our LCS ...someone bought it before I could ...

I just needed to come up with the $9200 to buy it ...

I think I have a pic of it.

1916-D dime. I've had varying opinions on this coins authenticity because it's raw. I've carefully checked diagnostics and in-hand everything seems alright. Had it looked over by several dealers at a coin show as well. Will have to send it in to get graded at some point..
